Do my clients need an account to view the gallery?

No. Clients just click the link you send them. If you add a password, they type it in—no sign-up required.

Does the gallery ever expire?

Never. As long as your Drive or Dropbox folder exists and is shared, the gallery stays live. Delete the folder, the gallery goes dark. You control the timeline.
